The infamous White Swan Raft Race is back for 2022! Since it’s inauguration in the late 1970s this Twickenham event is a summer tradition helping to raise money for the RNLI.
In teams of 2 to 6 adults, the challenge is to build your own raft, dress up like crazy folk, and attempt to navigate across the river and return to the beach in the fastest time.
A series of heats will determine the fastest rafts which will progress through to the grand final.
Entry fee of £10 per crew member. Help raise additional funds through sponsorship. Why not get your friends and family to sponsor you?
For any questions or queries regarding your application for the Raft Race please email enquiries@whiteswantwickenham.co.uk
The White Swan provides a safety boat for the event & there will be first aiders and a life guard to hand on the day.
We check regularly with the Port of London Authority regarding the conditions on the river and every care is taken to ensure the day is as safe and smooth running as possible.
